5th Annual Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser at Spaghetti Eddie’s

Local law enforcement is trading in their handcuffs to spend the evening at Spaghetti Eddie’s raising money for the Special Spaghetti Eddie's to Host 4th Annual Tip A CopOlympics.

Police officers, detectives, California highway patrol officers and deputy sheriffs will be serving each table during the Tip-A-Cop event on Wednesday, April 26 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. 100 percent of the tips collected by the law enforcement benefit local Special Olympics.

Last year, Spaghetti Eddie’s raised almost $3,500 at this annual event. In 2015, the numbers were just as good and those proceeds helped fund the 2015 Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles hosted by Azusa Pacific University, the City of Azusa, the City of Duarte and the City of Glendora.

This is Spaghetti Eddie’s fifth annual Tip-A-Cop night, and each year the event has grown in participation.

General Manager, Teri Bainbridge, hopes to raise $4,000 this year.

“It’s such an important event for us because we are able to help a local chapter of the Special Olympics. It’s our job to be part of this community and pay it forward ,” she said.

Glendora Chief of Police Timothy Staab, Glendora Police Chaplin Karen Davis and other city officials may be in attendance.
