As if the Garlic Puffs at Spaghetti Eddie’s Cucina Italiana weren’t desirable enough.
The restaurant is giving patrons a new reason to crave the warm, soft and decadent appetizer by donating $1 to breast cancer research at City of Hope Arcadia for every order purchased during the month of October.
The fundraiser coincides with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), held every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and treatment.
City of Hope, while local to Spaghetti Eddie’s, is a nationally recognized leader in the research and treatment of breast cancer. It is one of few breast cancer centers to offer intraoperative radiation, the application of therapeutic levels of radiation to the tumor bed while the area is exposed during surgery.
Patrons dining at Spaghetti Eddie’s during October aren’t required to do anything specific to participate other than add an order – or two – of Garlic Puffs to their meal while dining at Spaghetti Eddie’s.
Eddie’s Italian Eatery, the sister restaurant of Spaghetti Eddie’s, is also donating $1 of every order of Garlic Puffs purchased during the month of October. For more info about this location in Claremont, visit www.EddiesEatery.com.
