Tired of the fried and greasy fair food? Eddie’s Cucina, located inside the Marketplace at the L.A. County Fair has some
alternative options, which pair nicely with wine and craft beer.
This year’s fair begins Friday, September 2 and runs through Sunday, September 25. Eddie’s Cucina, always open during fair hours, will amaze the taste buds of fair-goers by offering off the chart menu items such as Gourmet Pizzas, Appetizers including Stuffed Mushrooms and Garlic Puffs, Wine Country Pasta, Grilled Paninis, and Homemade Desserts.
The specialty menu is a fusion of two local “Eddie’s” restaurants — Spaghetti Eddie’s Cucina Italiana located on Grand Avenue in Glendora, and Eddie’s Pizzeria & Eatery located in Claremont, Both establishments are owned by The Absolutely Italian Management Group, who also own a third restaurant, Tutti Mangia Italian Grill & Chophouse, offering steaks, pasta, seafood and an extensive wine list with worldwide varietals. With years of experience, the goal of offering a memorable “food fair” experience is now a reality.
Spaghetti Eddie’s Cucina Italiana celebrated 30 years last September.
Eddie’s Pizzeria & Eatery offers menu items such as pastas and burgers. Eddie’s menu places a focus on satisfying each customer, no matter the type of food. In October, Eddie’s will undergo a re-brand and name change to Eddie’s Italian Eatery, offering gourmet pizzas, pastas and paninis. Fans have responded to the Italian offerings so soon the restaurant will offer more, evolving from a pizzeria to a true Italian eatery.
So before you run to the funnel cake, kettle corn or cotton candy line at this year’s fair, take a stroll over to the Marketplace and let the experts of Eddie’s open your eyes to the new meaning of “fair food.”
