Spaghetti Eddie’s to Celebrate 30 Year Anniversary

Spaghetti Eddie’s Cucina Italiana is having its 30th anniversary celebration on Monday October 5.  The family-owned business will be celebrating by having roll-back prices from 4 – 9 p.m., including $3.95 Spaghetti, $4.95 Ravioli, and $5.95 Alfredo and Lasagna.

At 3:30 local dignitaries, and the Glendora Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and owners Eddie Inglese and Jim Hermanson will each say a few words.

Immediately following, from 4-8 p.m. the restaurant will host a special celebration, including raffles and giveaways.

The restaurant has celebrated for a year leading up to the 30th anniversary.

Since last September, a monthly winner has been chosen to receive a special raffle prize. The restaurant has also had monthly food and drink specials all closely tied into their upcoming anniversary celebration.

For the month of August, the eatery is given the 30th dine-in guest during dinner on Mondays a free brunch for two, and will draw a winner for 4 LA County fair tickets, including parking on August 30. Dine-in and carry-out guests are eligible to enter the monthly raffle.

Past prizes have included Los Angeles Angels tickets, dinner and a movie, and a gift card to Spaghetti Eddie’s sister restaurant Tutti Mangia Italian Grill.

Also, all of the names collected over the year for each monthly raffle will be placed into one bin for a grand prize that will be chosen on October 5, where the winner will get a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort, Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. A second name will be drawn for a free pizza each month for a year.

During the event, smaller prizes will be raffled off every 15-30 minutes, all leading up to the grand prize.  These smaller prizes include coffee mugs, beer pints, key chains and more.

The Italian eatery has food choices for everyone.  From starters to desserts, everything in between, and even their extensive wine list, no one leaves disappointed.  They even serve up Sunday sit-down brunch.

Starting in 1985, Spaghetti Eddie’s has been in its same location since day one.  Owner Ed Inglese, and his partner and brother-in-law, Jim Hermanson, have owned the restaurant since the beginning.

Thirty years of business does not happen without the right owners and employees to back it up.  Co-owner Hermanson believes the success of the restaurant not only comes with great food and service, but with personal relationships with the guests that have been there.  And this has happened since the restaurant’s inception, and continues to this day.

“It is a warm, friendly, cozy environment where our guests can relax and be ‘EATER-TAINED,’” said Hermanson.  “My favorite saying to new employees is, ‘A happy guest happens from the moment they walk in the front door and receive a warm welcome from our counter staff, until they walk out after great service, and a great lunch or dinner.’”

Make sure you build your appetite, save the date, and don’t forget to attend Spaghetti Eddie’s 30th anniversary celebration on Monday, October 5 from 3:30-8 p.m.
