HOST OR HOSTESS

Host/Hostess Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts. ​ Ultimately, you’ll ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities Include:
  • • Welcome guests to the venue
  • • Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
  • • Manage reservations
  • • Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
  • • Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
  • • Greet customers upon their departure
  • • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
  • • Maintain a clean reception area
  • • Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
  • • Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
  • • Assist wait staff as needed

  • Job Requirements:
  • • Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress
  • • Understanding of restaurant etiquette
  • • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • • Experience in managing reservations
  • • Demonstrable customer-service skills
  • • Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
  • • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
  • • Availability to work in shifts as needed
  • • Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift

We are looking for a Pizza Cook to join our kitchen staff at Spaghetti Eddie’s Cucina Italiana in Glendora. As a pizza cook, your primary responsibilities include baking pizzas and preparing related ingredients.

Job Type: 

Full-Time or Part-Time Available, Minimum of 2 Years of Pizza Experience Required

Responsibilities Include:
  • • Handle the kitchen’s fast-paced working environment
  • • Be familiar with food hygiene
  • • Prepare dough, make fresh sauce, chop toppings such as meats and vegetable
  • • Bake a variety of crust styles
  • • Recommend new pizzas for the restaurant’s menu
  • • Maintain a clean working area

We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to help prepare food using recipes and menu items created by our Head Chef and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

  • • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • • Preparing food including cleaning, cutting the ingredients, cooking, and plating appetizers, pizzas, salads, and desserts
  • • Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
  • • Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
  • • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
  • • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

We are looking for an experienced Sauté Cook. The successful candidate will employ its culinary skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction, and supporting our kitchen staff by learning and perfecting our pasta and Italian speciality dishes.

We are looking for an experienced Busser to join our team.

Responsibilities Include:

Clear tables of dish ware and napkins after meals, and return them to the kitchen

  • • Prepare coffee, tea, and ice water for customers
  • • Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping and mopping
  • • Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware
  • • Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meals
  • • Refill salt, pepper, and other condiments at tables
  • • Assist servers with food delivery
  • • Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked
  •  
  • Job Requirements:
  • • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • • Restaurant experience preferred
  • • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
  • • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • • Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
  • • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Applicants should have experience serving and must be able to work well with others in a family dining environment.
