Employee Spotlight: Aurelio Sanchez

From running food and clearing tables to refilling drinks, packing leftovers, and making sure every guest leaves with a smile, Aurelio’s role goes far beyond bussing tables. His genuine kindness and positive attitude have made him a favorite among both customers and coworkers. In fact, many regular guests ask for Aurelio by name—and some will even wait for him because they know he’ll make their dining experience extra special.

What motivates him after all these years? Simply making people happy.

“I love everybody here, and you know they love you and I feel like I love them too and I thank them for coming,” Aurelio says. “I will never forget how nice everyone was and is to me and I want to show that appreciation.”

That appreciation extends beyond our guests. Aurelio says one of the biggest reasons he’s stayed with Spaghetti Eddie’s for nearly two decades is the family who owns and operates the restaurant.

“They’ve always treated me like family,” he says.

That feeling of family is something Aurelio carries with him every day. To him, his coworkers aren’t just teammates—they’re close friends. And the customers he serves year after year have become like extended family as well.

When he’s not working more than 40 hours each week at the restaurant, Aurelio enjoys spending his time helping neighbors manicure their yards. It’s another example of the generous spirit that makes him such a valued part of the community.

At home, Aurelio is happily married and the proud father of two grown children. And when it’s time to sit down for a meal at Spaghetti Eddie’s, one dish stands above the rest: our classic Chicken Piccata.

For almost 20 years, Aurelio has embodied what Spaghetti Eddie’s is all about—hard work, genuine hospitality, and treating everyone like family. His smile, work ethic, and heartfelt gratitude have touched thousands of guests over the years, and we’re incredibly grateful to have him as part of the Spaghetti Eddie’s family.

Thank you, Aurelio, for nearly 20 years of making every guest feel welcome. We appreciate everything you do, and we know our customers do too.
